I love visiting the calves on my Grandmother’s farm. They are always so sweet and friendly. I think he was waiting for breakfast. This picture makes me somewhat sad though because the calf almost looks lonely…

Sunrise through the Window

On a rare morning (I say rare because I was actually awake) I was able to catch the sunrise reflecting off the windows of this farm house. I love this picture because it also has their magnolia tree in it which was my main purpose for the expedition.
The house is located on Route 74 in Dillsburg.

Last March I decided to take a trip to visit my Grandmother and take some pictures of the farm. My 6 year old cousin had to tag along to be a part of it and I snapped this shot in the barn. The door opens to a ledge that sits about 10 feet off the ground above the barnyard. I loved this shot because of the way the light filters in through the cracks and around the door frame.
