Snow Babies

These are two of our precious pups…Tiki (in front) which is short for Tikaani and Kelme (in back). They are Alaskan Malamutes and two of the five loves of our family. I decided to don some snow pants, jacket and hat to go sit in the snow with them and grab a few shots of them doing their favorite thing: playing in the snow.
Even though they are both past their puppy years the snow brings out the puppy antics in them!

I woke up this morning to a wonderland of snow, it was quite great actually! I eagerly anticipated the blizzard that the east coast was expecting and the wait was well worth it! I had to work today and unfortunately had to have my dad drive me in because my adorable little car couldn’t make it up the hill. On our way home we had the camera and decided to take our time and see what pictures I could get.
This was taken along the creek and just converted to a B&W, I adjusted the contrast slightly. I was hoping to channel my inner Ansel Adams with this shot. His photos are amazing and I could only hope to be half as good as he is.

Black and White ABC

I was out for lunch one day with one my favorite girls and decided to go early and take a few minutes taking photos. I shot this outside of the Appalachian Brewing Company in Harrisburg…This is along the side that is the brewery part of the building and the old windows are cemented over.
It’s a very cool place to eat and drink with friends or family. I highly recommend making a visit!

On my way home from my last class of the semester I stopped through Middletown and passed this cemetery. I thought with the magnolia tree, the sunset and the cemetery that it was too beautiful a shot to pass up.

As my mom and I were driving home from a trip to Mannings in East Berlin we came upon this house! We are still not sure whether it is a shop or a home (because there isn’t a sign or anything) but we thought it was too great to pass up for a picture. Enjoy, xoxo
