My boyfriend and I decided to drive all the way to Sarasota this year for a vacation in beautiful Florida. It took us 12 hours to get to Savannah and another 6 or 7 to get to Sarasota. To say the least it was an experience. This is one of the photos that happened in that very long, very scenic car ride!

During our summer vacation at Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia we had a day with gigantic clouds and a bright sun. I cropped the right side of the photo (it was a blazing sun blob) to capture the true beauty of the photograph. I tweaked in photoshop (I am obsessed) with the waterpaper effect.
I’ve had somewhat of a hectic week and needed something that would calm and sooth. Here is what I came up with! I hope it gives you the serenity to begin a new week. Enjoy.

This is my all time favorite shot. I love how the mums looking like they’re reaching up to touch the sun. I believe they are the Hannah Mums
